About You

As a member of our ML team at Prisma Photonics, you will tackle unique challenges in the domain of Optical Fiber Sensing. Fiber Sensing data measures the acoustic signal along and optical fiber and interpreted as a continuous acoustic signal originating from tens of thousands of microphones spanning over hundreds of kilometers. You will cultivate a deep familiarity with this domain and research novel ML approaches that address domain specific challenges in detecting, classifying and tracking spatiotemporal events. As a data scientist at Prisma Photonics you will have access to the full data-acquisition stack, and a close collaboration with the engineering, hardware, data and field application teams is expected.

We're looking for a top-notch senior machine learning researcher, with the experience, skills and first-principles reasoning to take part in solving our core ML and DS challenges.

Reporting to: Stav Shapiro -  Data Science Manager

Basic Qualifications:

Advanced degree in a relevant field, or equivalent B.Sc. with +3 years' experience.Experience with DL, ML and numerical libraries: Pytorch, Tensorflow, NumPy, Pandas, sklearn, xgboost/lightgbm.Solid python programming skills.Proven track record in solving novel ML challenges.Ability to learn and adapt quickly.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Preferred Qualifications:
Previous publication record in ML and adjacent disciplines.In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in deep learning.Experience with seismic data and geophysics. Familiarity with MLops tools such as: TensorBoard, Weights and Biases and   ClearML.Familiarity with the DevOps, and BigData infrastructure.Location: Tel Aviv, Israel
