We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team in providing high-quality services to students in Melrose Park, IL.


Job Overview:

This part-time position involves working approximately 4 hours per week, with an ASAP start date. The Occupational Therapist will work collaboratively with the educational team to deliver occupational therapy services to students, focusing on their unique needs and abilities. Key responsibilities include:
1. Providing occupational therapy services to students, adapting interventions to meet their individual needs and abilities.
2. Developing and implementing plans to support students' social, emotional, and cognitive development, incorporating observations, evaluations, and recommendations for adaptive equipment where necessary.
3. Maintaining open communication channels with staff, administrators, and parents to ensure effective service delivery and address any concerns or questions.
4. Participating in ongoing professional development opportunities to refine skills and knowledge and stay up-to-date with best practices in occupational therapy.
5. Contributing to the overall success of the educational team by sharing expertise and collaborating on initiatives to enhance student outcomes.


Requirements:

Candidates must possess the following qualifications:
1. Illinois State License as an Occupational Therapist
2. Recent experience working as a school-based OT
