We are seeking an experienced Financial Compliance Senior Controller to lead our global SOX compliance program. This role involves driving the implementation and ongoing enhancement of internal control policies and procedures, ensuring they are consistently applied across all entities.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of COSO framework and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements, as well as experience in conducting detailed risk assessments and process walkthroughs. They will be responsible for developing comprehensive documentation of internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR) and coordinating design and operational effectiveness testing of controls.

This is a senior-level position that requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams. The successful candidate will serve as a key advisor to finance, legal, compliance, technology, and operations teams, and will monitor changes in the organization's operations, structure, systems, or regulatory landscape.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the global SOX compliance program
  • Implementing and enhancing internal control policies and procedures
  • Conducting risk assessments and process walkthroughs
  • Developing ICFR documentation
  • Coordinating design and operational effectiveness testing of controls

Requirements include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or Accounting
  • 5 years of experience as a SOX and Compliance controller or similar role
  • In-depth knowledge of SOX compliance, IFRS, and internal controls
  • Strong command of English, both written and verbal
