Junior Software Integrator

About the Role">

We are seeking highly skilled and experienced junior software integrators to join our team in Netanya. As a junior software integrator, you will be responsible for integrating complex simulator systems in the defense industry. This is a full-time position requiring on-site work with no hybrid options. Security clearance is mandatory.

Start date: Immediate. Location: Netanya. Required security clearance.


Key Responsibilities
  • Lab maintenance and support
  • Software release installations and distribution
  • Updating configuration files (e.g., XML)
  • Monitoring and resolving technical issues
  • Developing and facilitating configuration and automation tools
  • Occasional travel to client sites in Israel and abroad
  • Working on simulators for fighter jets and tanks (mostly ground-based systems)
  • Handling various tasks independently with multiple internal interfaces

Requirements
  • Strong knowledge and experience in Windows environment. Must have hands-on experience.
  • Experience writing and editing scripts such as Batch or Python. Must have practical experience.
  • Strong understanding of computer networks and monitoring tools. Must have detailed knowledge.
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Jenkins or Ansible. Having experience is an advantage.
  • Background in SW Practical Engineer. Having experience is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with XML configuration files. Having experience is an advantage.
  • Linux knowledge. Having experience is an advantage.

  • This is not a DevOps or software development position. It is an integration role.
  • Candidates should not expect to transition into development roles.
  • This role is best suited for candidates looking for 1.52 years of stable work, not as a short-term stepping stone.
  • Preferred profiles: Practical Engineers, technicians, or candidates with hands-on tech experience, but not CS university graduates.
  • This is a high-responsibility, independent position with strong growth opportunities within complex systems.
