**Respiratory Therapist - Dynamic Healthcare Setting**

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Respiratory Therapist to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare setting, providing comprehensive respiratory care to patients.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Use respiratory therapy processes to assess patients utilizing a variety of skills such as pulmonary diagnostics, chest radiograph, hemodynamic values, laboratory values, and correlate blood gases and electrolytes.
  • Operate specialized ventilators in critical and non-critical care venues.
  • Provide medication treatments and therapies per physician order and/or patient-driven respiratory protocols as prescribed.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot equipment as necessary and identify the need for service and/or repair.
  • Educate and instruct patients in purpose, technique, self-care, goal of therapy, and disease management.

Requirements:

  • Associate degree in respiratory care or related field.
  • RCP license issued by the state in which the team member practices.
  • RRT or CRT certification issued by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
  • BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).
