Job Description

As a Backend Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing complex software systems that power our cloud-based applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify requirements, design solutions, and implement them using a range of programming languages and technologies.

  • Design, develop, and test complex software systems that meet the needs of our customers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify requirements, design solutions, and implement them.
  • Write high-quality, maintainable code that is scalable, efficient, and easy to understand.
  • Participate in code reviews, provide feedback, and mentor junior engineers.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve our software systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • 5+ years of experience in software development, preferably in a cloud-based environment.
  • Deep knowledge of object-oriented programming and other scripting languages, such as Java, Python, Scala, C#, Go, Node.JS, and C++.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with relational and non-relational databases.
  • Experience with developing SAAS products over public cloud infrastructure, including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Proven experience designing and developing distributed systems at scale.
  • Proficiency in queues, locks, scheduling, event-driven architecture, and workload distribution.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate technical ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
