High Performance Computing Expert

We are seeking an experienced High Performance Computing (HPC) expert to lead the design and implementation of advanced computing solutions. The successful candidate will have a strong background in system architecture and engineering, with a focus on designing and integrating complex, multi-disciplinary computing solutions.

The HPC expert will be responsible for evaluating and selecting optimal architectural components and technologies to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance. They will also develop comprehensive high-level and low-level design documentation for computing infrastructure and serve as a technical authority and advisor to development teams throughout the solution lifecycle.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Evaluating and implementing emerging technologies to improve computing performance and efficiency
  • Collaborating with technical teams to design and develop complex computing systems
  • Developing and maintaining detailed technical designs and documentation
  • Serving as a technical authority and advisor to development teams

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
  • At least 5 years hands-on experience in solution architecture and system engineering, focus on multi-disciplinary systems
  • Strong background in system architecture and engineering, with a focus on designing and integrating complex, multi-disciplinary computing solutions
  • Comprehensive knowledge across the computing stack, including compute, networking, storage, operating systems and virtualization technologies
  • Experience with automation stack software architecture - Advantage
  • Deep knowledge in DevOps practices - Advantage
