Job Summary">

We are looking for a skilled professional to join our Cortex backend engineering team as a Senior Backend Engineer. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining the backend of Cortex products – Cortex XSOAR, Cortex XDR, and Cortex XSIAM.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in developing scalable server-side applications, with expertise in Go and Python programming languages. Additionally, experience with distributed cloud products, cloud platforms (e.g., GCP/AWS/Azure), and containerization tools like Kubernetes/Docker is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities">
  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain end-to-end backend features and components across their entire life cycle.
  • Collaborate closely with peers across different teams and disciplines to shape solutions and integrate with other parts of the product.
  • Contribute to team-wide efforts – code reviews, design reviews, technical and architectural decisions.
  • Work in a production-oriented approach providing real-time mitigation and solutions to production issues.
Qualifications">

Candidates should have:

  • 5+ years of experience in development of scalable server-side applications.
  • Experience with various database technologies.
  • Proficiency in Go and Python, or willingness to learn.
  • Experience with distributed cloud products – an advantage.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., GCP/AWS/Azure) – an advantage.
  • Experience with Kubernetes/Docker – an advantage.
