Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Fullstack Engineer who is bilingual in Python and React, with a proven track record in building scalable architectures using serverless technologies.

You will play a significant role in building a consumer therapy AI product. This is a critical role in a high-growth startup, requiring a leader who can advocate for engineering requirements, tech debt, and best practices while promoting a product mindset and putting customers first.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Owning features end-to-end from design to deployment, ability to work autonomously
  2. Designing and developing scalable backend systems and UIs, including APIs, microservices, and responsive user interfaces
  3. Advocating clean code practices and leading technical initiatives through code reviews and debugging
  4. Collaborating cross-functionally with other developers, product managers, and stakeholders
  5. Driving innovation by exploring and integrating emerging technologies, particularly in AI and cloud services
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • At least 6 years of experience as a Senior Fullstack Engineer (React/Python/Django) in fast-paced startup environments
  • Deep understanding of databases, queues, data pipelines, and event-driven architectures
  • Proven experience with cloud architecture, microservices, and serverless technologies
  • Strong understanding of observability practices
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with demonstrated success in fast-paced environments
Bonus
  • Some experience with AI or machine learning features
  • Experience with Stripe API or similar payment gateways
  • Background in B2C product development
  • Familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana, or Sentry
  • Familiarity with GraphQL, WebSockets, or real-time systems
