• An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Database System Specialist to join our Data Science and Business Insights Department as a SQL Server DBA.

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to design, develop, and maintain complex financial reporting solutions (e.g., complex queries) and troubleshoot data issues, validate result sets, and deliver high-quality ad-hoc reports (SSRS) and analyses within tight deadlines.

• Design, develop, and maintain complex financial reporting solutions (e.g., complex queries).
• Troubleshoot data issues, validate result sets, and deliver high-quality ad-hoc reports (SSRS) and analyses within tight deadlines.
• Design, develop, and maintain data loading processes from external heterogeneous sources using PowerShell and SQL scripts.

• Experience: At least 3 years as a SQL Server DBA.
• Skills:
  • Ability to design and implement business processes into efficient, functional code.
  • Strong understanding of data and schema standards and concepts.
  • Proficient in database design, implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
  • Skilled in Performance Tuning and Optimization, using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
  • Expertise in operational automation using scripts.
• Work Style:
  • Able to multi-task and work effectively under deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • High standards for design, documentation, and testing.

The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 based on industry standards and location.

• Familiarity with financial terms and processes.
• Experience with AWS.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting.
• Experience with SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services).
• Knowledge of Snowflake.
