Job Description

Your Role

We are seeking a seasoned Backend-oriented engineering Team Lead to manage our Kubernetes Security Posture Management (KSPM) engineering team. As a key member of our Cortex Cloud team, you will oversee the development and delivery of high-performance security features that protect cloud-native applications and infrastructure.

You will lead a team of software developers, working closely with Product Managers, Architects, and Automation Managers to define project scope and phases. Your expertise in large-scale system design, cloud security, and Kubernetes will be crucial in ensuring the successful implementation of security features that meet our customers' needs.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead a team of 6-7 software developers, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to drive alignment and shared goals.
  • Develop and deliver scalable security solutions that meet our customers' demands.
  • Hire and mentor top talent for the team, supporting their growth and career development.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Computer Science or equivalent military experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in Backend / FullStack Software Development, with 3+ years as a Team Lead.
  • Strong domain expertise in security, Kubernetes, and cloud development.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate your team.
