We're growing and looking for another important piece of the puzzle. 

Is it you? 

We're looking for a dynamic Creative Lead to own and elevate Shield's video marketing, brand identity, and vibe marketing strategy—with a sharp eye on how AI is reshaping the creative process. You'll lead a small but mighty team of two designers, crafting visual storytelling that blends animation, live-action, and AI-assisted creativity.

This is a role for a hands-on visionary who merges conceptual thinking with sharp execution—someone who understands that brand isn't just what we say, it's how we make people feel. You'll help us define and scale a vibe marketing approach that leverages intuition, insight, and AI to build resonance, relevance, and emotional velocity across every channel.

 What you'll do: 

Video Marketing & Storytelling

  • Lead end-to-end creative direction and execution of all video content—animated explainers, filmed brand pieces, reels, and campaigns.
  • Experiment with AI tools to accelerate production, iterate on concepts, and expand creative possibility.
  • Craft emotionally engaging narratives that connect Shield to the world around us.

Creative Direction & Team Leadership

  • Guide and mentor a small in-house team of two talented designers.
  • Lead creative ideation, provide thoughtful feedback, and foster a culture of exploration, boldness, and quality.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, and leadership to keep creative tightly aligned with strategy.

Brand Identity & Vibe Marketing

  • Define and protect a cohesive visual identity across digital, product, and campaign touchpoints.
  • Build a vibe-led creative strategy that goes beyond assets—into how Shield shows up in culture.
  • Explore and integrate AI-assisted workflows to enhance creativity, experimentation, and scale.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in design, art direction, or creative leadership.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing video work (both animation and live-action), branding, and campaign thinking.
  • A deep understanding of modern brand systems, storytelling, and aesthetics—paired with a bias for action.
  • Experience managing or mentoring creatives in a high-output environment.
  • Familiarity with AI tools (e.g., Runway, Midjourney, Sora, Adobe Firefly, etc.) and excitement about what they unlock for creative teams.
