Position Overview:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced
Senior BackEnd Software Engineer
with expertise in
and NestJS
to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of TypeScript and a proven track record of designing and implementing scalable, high-performance backend services. You will play a critical role in shaping our backend architecture, ensuring the robustness and efficiency of our applications. Experience in payment routing, payment acceptance, bank accounts, and card issuing is considered a significant plus.

Key Responsibilities:

1. **Backend Development:**

2. Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable backend services using and NestJS.

3. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in TypeScript.

4. **Architecture and Design:**

5. Collaborate with the team to define and implement architecture and design patterns.

6. Ensure the scalability, security, and reliability of the backend systems.

7. **API Development:**

8. Develop and maintain RESTful and GraphQL APIs.

9. Ensure API design follows best practices and meets business requirements.

10. **Testing and Quality Assurance:**

11. Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks.

12. Perform code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.

13. **Performance Optimization:**

14. Monitor and optimize the performance of backend services.

15. Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.

16. **Collaboration and Mentorship:**

17. Work closely with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration.

18. Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.

19. **Continuous Improvement:**

20. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.

21. Continuously improve the development process and infrastructure.

22. **Payment Systems Experience (Plus):**

23. Experience in payment routing, payment acceptance, bank accounts, and card issuing is considered a significant plus.

24. **Monitoring and Visualization:**

25. Implement and manage monitoring and logging systems to ensure system health and performance.

26. Experience with Grafana for visualization and monitoring purposes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Proven experience as a Senior Engineer or similar role, specializing in and NestJS.

• Strong proficiency in TypeScript.

• Extensive experience with backend development and architecture.

• Solid understanding of RESTful and GraphQL API design principles.

• Experience with MongoDB and NoSQL databases.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

• Experience with Grafana for monitoring and visualization.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

• Experience with microservices architecture.
