As a Mobile App Software Developer, you will join our team at the forefront of creating a cutting-edge solution that connects the physical world with the digital one. Your work will directly impact our ability to scale and grow, developing new mobile capabilities and driving innovation. You will tackle interdisciplinary challenges alongside a dedicated team, leveraging sharp problem-solving skills to bring these advanced solutions to production.

  • You will be responsible for developing world class multi-drone mission software running on mobile devices, flying drones autonomously and connects them with the vHive cloud
  • You will work end-to-end, writing code for both the mobile app and the server side
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team for the development of cutting edge software features from inception to release
  • Work in an Agile team, manage tasks and complete them through TDD, continuous integration as well as modern development processes
  • Make an impact on the innovation that vHive brings to drone field operations

Requirements:

  • BSc. degree in CS
  • At least 5 years of experience in mobile software development for Android in Java and Kotlin
  • Experience in iOS mobile development
  • Experience in Flutter/Dart – Advantage
  • Experience in backend development and technologies – Advantage
  • Proven experience with Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
  • Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes and popular third-party libraries
  • Proficient in consuming RESTful web services, asynchronous data processing
  • Proven experience working in an Agile development methodologies, using CI/CD practices including testing
  • Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle – designing, developing, debugging, and deploying
  • Strong problem solving, design and creative thinking capabilities
  • Excellent team player with strong communication skills
  • Business-fluent English

Nice to have:

  • Acquaintance with Kotlin Multiplatform framework
  • Has published one or more apps in the app store
  • Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
