As an
Economist at Zap Group
, you'll turn complex data into clear economic insights that drive growth. You'll get exposure to the company's core business decisions, and play a key role in shaping the company's strategic direction.

What you'll do:

  • Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and macroeconomic data to identify growth opportunities.
  • Build economic and business models that inform strategic decisions.
  • Translate data into actionable insights — helping the business make smarter, faster moves.
  • Partner with management teams to evaluate initiatives and measure their real economic impact.
  • Use tools like Excel, BI platforms, and GenAI tools to deepen insights and accelerate learning.

What we're looking for:

  • 2–4 years of experience in
    economic or business analysis
    , ideally within a
    digital or consumer-facing company
    .
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills — with the ability to connect numbers to strategy.
  • A sharp, curious mind and a genuine passion for understanding what drives business results.
  • Proficiency with analytical tools (Excel, BI, SQL, GA) and
    AI tools
    (ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.).
  • Excellent communication skills — able to turn data into a clear story that drives action.
