We are looking for an enthusiastic Junior Customer Support Specialist to join Zenzap. We're a tight-knit early-stage startup on a mission to transform how teams communicate. We're backed by top VCs and work with large customers across different industries. This is an amazing opportunity to join early and make a huge impact.
You'll be the first point of contact for customer inquiries, providing friendly and efficient support for product questions and basic technical issues. As our Customer Support specialist, you'll ensure our customers receive timely assistance while gathering important information and escalating to our engineering team when needed.
What You'll Do:
- Act as the first point of contact for customers, focusing on speed, clarity, and empathy
- Handle Tier 1 support requests, including product questions and simple technical issues
- Ask the right questions to understand customer problems and gather relevant information
- Escalate Tier 2 issues with clear documentation and context
- Provide clear, friendly responses to customers using our knowledge base and internal documentation
- Document customer interactions and common questions to help improve our support resources
- Learn our product inside and out to provide accurate and helpful guidance
- Maintain professional communication with customers throughout the support process

Night Owl -
available to work night shifts consistently (
MUST)
- Night shifts are between 22:00-6:00 or 23:00-7:00, full-time or part-time positions available
- Full professional fluency in English with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Has basic technical aptitude and is comfortable troubleshooting simple tech issues
- Is an excellent listener who knows how to ask clarifying questions
- Has strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Can work independently during night shifts while staying connected with the team
- Is patient, empathetic, and passionate about helping customers
- Has customer service or support experience (bonus)
- Familiar with support tools and ticketing systems (bonus)
- Thrives in a fast-paced startup environment and is eager to learn
