At Windward, we're dedicated to leveraging data to make a real impact in the maritime world. Join our Data Ops department and help us ensure data quality, reliability, and efficiency across the organization.
As a Data Analyst in Data Ops, you'll work hands-on with large and complex maritime datasets, maintaining high data standards and supporting cross-company needs with analysis and validation.
What will you do?
- Write Python code to extract, clean, and validate data from multiple sources.
- Perform QA checks, identify data errors, and drive improvements in data accuracy.
- Use SQL and Python (Pandas, NumPy) to analyze and manipulate datasets.
- Support automation of workflows and monitoring tools to improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with Data Engineering, Product, and Customer-facing teams to resolve data issues.
- Document processes and ensure transparency in data operations.
Who are you?
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 2 years of relevant experience in data analysis or data operations.
- Hands-on experience coding in Python – must.
- Experience working with SQL databases and data manipulation libraries (Pandas, NumPy).
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience with data QA or validation processes – an advantage.
- Good communication skills in English.
- Organized, reliable, and able to handle multiple tasks in parallel.
