As the
Frontend Team Leader
, you will lead a talented team of frontend engineers, ensuring smooth execution and timely delivery of high-quality features.

While the technical direction and architecture are driven by the
Frontend Architect
, you'll focus on
team management, coordination, and delivery execution
, making sure projects move efficiently from planning to production.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of frontend engineers, setting priorities and ensuring timely delivery of tasks and projects.
  • Work closely with the
    Frontend Architect
    to align on architecture, standards, and implementation plans.
  • Monitor progress, remove blockers, and ensure smooth communication across teams.
  • Collaborate with Product, Design, and Backend teams to deliver seamless, user-focused features.
  • Oversee sprint planning, task allocation, and progress tracking to maintain clear timelines.
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture focused on ownership and delivery excellence.
  • Support hiring, onboarding, and growth of frontend team members.

Requirements:

Technical Background

  • 5+ years of experience in frontend development, with at least 2 years in a leadership or team lead role.
  • Strong proficiency in
    modern frontend frameworks
    React, NextJS and TypeScript.
  • Solid understanding of web fundamentals — HTML, CSS, performance optimization, accessibility, and responsive design.
  • Familiarity with
    frontend architecture principles
    , CI/CD pipelines, and version control (Git).
  • Experience collaborating with architects or tech leads on system design and implementation plans.

Leadership & Delivery

  • Proven experience leading teams — managing tasks, priorities, and timelines in an agile environment.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills; able to balance multiple streams of work.
  • Excellent communication skills — able to coordinate across Product, Design, and Backend teams.
  • Hands-on mindset
  • Ability to mentor developers and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
