NESS Technologies is looking for a Senior Project Manager

This is a new strategic project of the Central Bureau of Statistics, which aims to build a new ecosystem for making state data accessible through a modern API Management infrastructure.

The role includes planning, monitoring and controlling the technological development of all systems in the project. Overall responsibility for connecting professional and methodological requirements with technological solutions. Managing integration between processes, information systems, data and external suppliers, formulating a systemic picture of all project components and guiding teams accordingly, controlling work plans, schedules, budgets and contracts with suppliers, leading a dialogue between professionals (statisticians, analysts and developers) for the purpose of defining needs and providing a comprehensive response.

Full-time and hybrid position, in Tel Aviv.

Requirements:

  • Relevant education such as computer science/industrial engineering and management/information systems/computer engineer - mandatory
  • 6 years or more experience in managing computing and technology projects – Required
  • At least 4 years of management experience of a team of IT project managers - Required
  • Experience in complex DATA projects with methodological interfaces - Required
  • Experience in complex web projects with interfaces to diverse data sources - Required
  • Experience working with cloud systems, distributed systems and integration between systems - Required.
  • Experience working with external suppliers - Required
  • Practical experience in analyzing complex information systems - Advantage
  • Experience in promoting curations and applications in the Internet field - Advantage
  • Experience working with SharePoint - Advantage
  • Experience working with Headless CMS - Advantage
