Experienced AI Product Manager

We're looking for a Product Manager to join our Trading & Shipping (T&S) vertical. This role focuses on creating, owning, and scaling products and features that help commodity traders, shipowners, operators, and bunkering companies optimize decision-making across the maritime value chain. By embedding AI-driven workflows and automation into Maritime AI, you will enable customers to streamline pre-fixture and operational processes, unlock efficiencies, and transform how they operate.

Depending on your experience, you may focus on supporting and scaling existing product lines, or take full ownership of new products, leading them from ideation through production and adoption. In both cases, you'll collaborate with developers, data scientists, and analysts, as well as engage directly with commercial teams and customers to ensure impact.

What will you do?

• Define and own customer workflows within the Trading & Shipping vertical, translating them into product requirements and features.
• Take products and features from ideation to production and adoption, validating with customers and ensuring measurable business impact.
• Collaborate with developers, data scientists, analysts, and UX designers to deliver products built on Windward's proprietary AI models and data flows.
• Contribute to platform-wide initiatives that apply across all verticals, enhancing Windward's core platform and data pipelines.
• Drive the promotion and adoption of Generative AI-powered features, showcasing their value and impact to customers.
• Partner with commercial teams and engage directly with customers to capture needs, validate solutions, and drive adoption.
• Monitor performance post-launch, leveraging analytics and customer feedback to iterate and maximize impact.
• Depending on experience, lead larger-scale initiatives that extend the reach and impact of Maritime AI beyond T&S.

Who are you?

• 4+ years of product management experience in B2B SaaS (more experienced candidates are strongly encouraged to apply).
• Track record of defining and delivering customer workflows, ideally with end-to-end ownership from ideation to adoption.
• Experience working with or implementing AI/ML-driven products, with familiarity in using Generative AI to enhance workflows and automation.
• Strong communicator who can confidently engage with customers, executives, and cross-functional teams.
• Comfortable collaborating across engineering, data science, UX, analysts, and commercial teams on both vertical and platform initiatives.
• Technical aptitude with the ability to contribute to discussions on data pipelines, platformic features, and AI-driven architectures.
• Meticulous, organized, and outcome-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel on a quarterly basis to engage with customers and internal teams globally.
• Background in maritime, trading, or logistics industries – an advantage.
