Why this role matters

As our R&D Director, you'll play a mission-critical role in shaping the technology backbone and innovation agenda of a company at the intersection of education and technology.

You'll lead Edusoft's global Development team. This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned technology leader who combines strong technical expertise, strategic thinking, and people leadership to drive modernization, innovation, and scale.

What you'll do


• Lead and grow a global development organization, defining our technology strategy and ensuring delivery excellence.


• Drive modernization initiatives: cloud migration, microservices, and scalable architecture.


• Provide hands-on leadership — mentor engineers, review designs, and guide technical excellence.


• Oversee Agile Scrum squads using Azure DevOps, ensuring efficient collaboration and delivery.


• Partner closely with Product, Business, and other stakeholders to turn customer needs into impactful solutions.


• Build a culture of curiosity, innovation, and continuous improvement.

What you bring


• 5+ years of experience leading and scaling software development teams.


• Strong background in architecture and engineering, with experience in C#, .NET Core, Web APIs, Angular, React Native, and MS SQL.


• Proven track record in modernization projects (cloud migration, microservices) and infrastructure transformation.


• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and DevOps practices (Azure preferred).


• Strong communication, people leadership, and a business-aligned mindset.


• Ability to attract and inspire talent while driving both execution and innovation.


• Curious, AI-first thinker with a business-aligned mindset.


• BSc in Computer Science or Software Engineering.


• Fluent English and a global mindset.
