We at Amarel are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join our Data Platforms team.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our Data Platforms team, working with cutting-edge technologies. The role includes responsibility for data ingestion, processing, and analysis processes, as well as developing data-driven applications on the Splunk platform (such as dashboards, analytics, and alerts).

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement Data Pipeline processes and data streaming between different systems, ensuring data integrity and completeness, with efficient implementation for each data type
  • Implement business logic on the Splunk platform: dashboards, visualizations, complex analytics, and alerts
  • Manage and maintain the technological solution in a Linux environment, including installations, upgrades, maintenance, and configuration
  • Interface with additional systems and consume data via APIs or dedicated interfaces

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Data Engineer with ETL processes, Data Pipelines, and integration between diverse sources
  • Knowledge and experience working with Linux systems
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Shell
  • Familiarity with implementing data-driven applications: dashboards, reports, analytics, or monitoring systems
  • Experience working with Splunk - significant advantage
  • Experience with additional data analytics technologies (e.g., ELK, Grafana, Power BI, etc.) - advantage
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field - advantage
