Ready to work at a global scale as our next Global Operation Analyst?

In this role you will be responsible for:

Vessel performance analysis:

  • Monitoring and analyzing all ZIM fleet vessel performance: Fuel consumption, KPI's, speed analysis, actual vs. proforma analysis.
  • Perform full vessel performance study by request of Global Operation Manager /GOC Manager, SMD, Chartering, BU.

Data analysis assistance to BU Operations and Operations Data Validation:

  • Monitoring and analyzing BU ops fuel consumption and port performance.
  • Assisting with ad-hoc analysis.
  • Build supportive tools (Dataiku/Tableau/Excel) for validation of data from vessels, terminals and other sources.
  • Monitor data validations and enforce correction process by BU Operations

Develop and maintain supportive BI tools:

  • Define and develop supportive Dataiku/Tableau tools for vessel performance and BU ops.

GOC ad-hoc analysis tasks & GOC general tasks:

  • Perform ad-hoc operation data analysis by Global Operation Manager.
  • GOC updates to all company units.

We are looking for:

  • Academic degree in Industrial Engineering & Management.
  • Very strong analytical skills and 3+ years of experience in similar role – a must.
  • Very strong Excel skills (power pivot, power query, advanced functions) – a must.
  • BI tools (Dataiku/Tableau) – an advantage.
  • Python, SQL – an advantage.
  • Fluency in English (writing, reading, speaking).
