? At Momentum, you'll play a central role in designing and building the technology that powers our growth. From day one, you'll have significant influence over product direction, technical architecture, and company culture — with the ability to shape both the business and the broader industry.

This is a hands-on R&D position. Over time this role may evolve toward technical leadership and team management.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of our core technology platform.
  • Make key architectural decisions to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance across multiple verticals.
  • Collaborate closely with the founders on product strategy, roadmap, and execution.
  • Help recruit and shape the engineering team, setting high standards for quality and velocity.
  • Drive a culture of experimentation and rapid iteration — where acquisition, retention, and monetization are productized.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on software development experience with strong expertise in modern frameworks and architectural decision-making across the stack.
  • A builder's mindset: you love creating products that people use and value.
  • Proven ability to design, build, and ship production-ready software at scale.
  • Experience in fast-paced, ambiguous environments — ideally startups or small teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and pragmatic judgment on trade-offs.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Hands-on experience with React ), React Native, , AWS (Cognito, Amplify, etc.)
