About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated
Head of Salesforce R&D
to join a leading global Salesforce partner. This is a strategic leadership role responsible for managing and mentoring a team of approximately 10 Salesforce developers. The role involves overseeing the end-to-end delivery of Salesforce-based solutions, ensuring high development standards, and driving innovation and scalability across global projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of ~10 Salesforce developers across multiple projects.
- Define and enforce best practices in Salesforce development, architecture, and DevOps processes.
- Oversee the design, development, and deployment of solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and other Salesforce technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including project managers, architects, QA, and client stakeholders.
- Ensure development milestones are met on time and within budget.
- Continuously evaluate and implement new tools and processes to improve team productivity and code quality.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in managing Salesforce development teams.
- Deep knowledge of Salesforce architecture, Apex, LWC, SOQL, and platform capabilities.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and deployment best practices in Salesforce environments.
- Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer II or Application/System Architect – a strong advantage.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
