We are seeking an experienced and visionary
VP Marketing
to lead the marketing strategy and execution for a fast-growing gaming company. The ideal candidate is a data-driven, creative, and strategic leader with deep knowledge of user acquisition, brand positioning, and community engagement in the gaming industry. This role requires a balance of analytical and creative thinking, hands-on execution, and strong leadership skills to drive growth across global markets.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Define and execute the global marketing strategy to drive user acquisition, engagement, and retention across multiple gaming titles and platforms.
- Lead all marketing functions, including growth, brand, creative, community, and communications.
- Partner closely with product, data, and studio teams to ensure marketing initiatives are aligned with game design, player insights, and business goals.
- Establish measurable KPIs to track and optimize marketing performance across all channels.
User Acquisition & Growth
- Oversee performance marketing campaigns across digital channels (Meta, Google, TikTok, influencer networks, programmatic, etc.).
- Develop and optimize media mix models to ensure efficient UA spend and positive ROI.
- Leverage data analytics to identify growth opportunities and refine audience segmentation and targeting.
Brand & Creative
- Build and evolve the company's brand identity, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints.
- Lead creative strategy for marketing assets, trailers, campaigns, and storytelling initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal and external creative teams to produce high-impact campaigns that resonate with global audiences.
Community & Player Engagement
- Drive community engagement initiatives across Discord, Reddit, YouTube, Twitch, and other player channels.
- Establish long-term relationships with content creators, streamers, and gaming influencers.
- Champion player feedback loops to enhance brand loyalty and product-market fit.
Team Leadership & Operations
- Build, mentor, and lead a multidisciplinary marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, performance, and accountability.
- Manage relationships with agencies, partners, and platform representatives.
- Own marketing budgets, forecasting, and reporting to senior leadership.
Requirements
- 8+ years of marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role within the
gaming or b2c industries
. - Proven track record in
scaling games
through performance marketing, brand storytelling, and data-driven growth. - Strong analytical mindset with experience in campaign attribution, data tools, and KPI optimization.
- Deep understanding of gaming audiences, player behavior, and market trends.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and large marketing budgets.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English (additional languages – advantage).
- Passion for gaming and familiarity with current titles, genres, and player communities.
