Project Manager – Generic Avionics | Central District | IAI – Aviation Division

We are looking for a
Project Manager – Generic Avionics
to join the Conversion and Upgrades Plant at IAI's Aviation Division, located at Ben Gurion Airport.

The position includes:


• Managing a development project of an avionics computer for a foreign customer


• Leading all project phases, including design, integration, and implementation at the customer site abroad


• Monitoring and controlling project performance, budget, and schedule


• Matrix management of multidisciplinary engineering teams and subcontractors in the field of avionics


• Understanding customer needs and delivering the product while ensuring customer satisfaction and meeting project objectives

What we're looking for:


• B.Sc. in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Systems Engineering – required


• At least 3 years of experience in project management – required


• Proven experience managing similar projects in the military field, working with the Israeli Air Force, Ministry of Defense, or foreign customers – significant advantage


• Hands-on experience managing avionics-related projects – advantage


• Proven technical knowledge in avionics and airborne systems – advantage


• Experience in integration and avionics systems implementation in aircraft – advantage

The Aviation Division's Conversion and Upgrades Plant is based at Ben Gurion Airport and is responsible for developing, integrating, and delivering advanced avionics solutions for both local and international customers. As a Project Manager, you'll play a key role in leading multidisciplinary teams, driving complex avionics programs, and ensuring successful delivery of cutting-edge solutions.
