The team at ice is seeking an experienced News Content Editor with the ability to distill a winning news story, craft a headline that's impossible not to click, and refine texts to resonate perfectly with a broad audience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Editing and managing news content to the highest standards.
  • Identifying compelling story angles relevant to a wide readership.
  • Writing creative, captivating headlines while maintaining journalistic accuracy.
  • Collaborating with writers and shaping content for maximum impact.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in news editing or content management for a news or magazine website.
  • A deep understanding of what makes a story interesting and relevant to the general public.
  • The ability to write creative and engaging headlines without sacrificing journalistic integrity.
  • Native-level proficiency in Hebrew.

Significant Advantages:

  • Familiarity with web traffic data (e.g., Google Analytics).
  • Experience working with in-house writers and/or freelancers.
  • A strong understanding of new media, current trends, and viral content.
