The Role

As our Senior DevOps Engineer, you'll be the infrastructure cornerstone of our technical stack and the sole DevOps function in the company. You will spearhead our cloud, platform engineering, and site reliability efforts – driving impact at every level of the organization.

This is a hands-on, full-on engineering role: we're looking for someone who lives and breathes DevOps, with real production experience and passion for building infrastructure that powers innovation.

You'll have the chance to help shape our infrastructure from the ground up, working closely with engineers and leadership to scale our systems and support our global AI product.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure (primarily AWS) using Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Develop and oversee robust CI/CD pipelines, ensuring seamless release automation.
• Own platform engineering: from internal tooling to self-service capabilities for developers.
• Ensure stability and reliability (SRE focus): set up monitoring, observability, and incident response practices.
• Lead production troubleshooting and root-cause analysis, building resilience and automations.
• Deploy and manage Kubernetes environments, especially within EKS.
• Mentor teams and drive engineering-wide improvements in processes and practices.

Requirements

• Proven track record – at least two significant production-level roles in DevOps/SRE/Platform Engineering, with broad ownership, deep technical impact, and meaningful responsibility.
• DevOps-first mindset – this is your domain of expertise and passion, and you understand its strategic value.
• Strategic thinker – you understand how infrastructure pieces fit together and take end-to-end ownership of systems and processes.
• Hands-on mentality – you aren't afraid to dive into code, configs, and tools daily.
• Experience across three major pillars:

Cloud engineering: AWS (EC2, S3, EKS, networking)

SRE best practices: observability (Prometheus/Grafana), incident response, uptime strategies

Platform engineering: internal tooling, developer self-service, scaling infrastructure

• Problem-solver with a can-do attitude – proactive, positive, and motivated to tackle any challenge.
• Full-on engineering commitment – you want to build and own from the ground up, not just design.

Nice-to-Have

• Kubernetes/EKS, Docker containerization
• Platform scripting or backend dev , Python)
• SaaS or startup background
• Familiarity with AI/ML deployment pipelines
