About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Hardware Group Manager to take ownership of our hardware development activities, delivering innovative technology solutions in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary R&D environment at the forefront of radar sensing. In this leadership role, you will guide the development of our next-generation mm-wave radar for safety-critical railway applications. This is an exciting opportunity for a
hands-on HW expert
with proven leadership experience, who enjoys driving technical innovation while building and inspiring a high-performing engineering team. This is a hybrid position in our Rehovot office.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Lead hardware development from concept to production, ensuring quality, cost, and timeline
  • Manage and mentor a multi-disciplinary team of engineers (board design, embedded, antenna)
  • Drive the design and bring-up of RF boards (mm-wave 80GHz)
  • Debug and validate RF, Analog and Digital designs
  • Conduct and lead design reviews, including outsourced activities
  • Lead integration activities of RF and Digital boards
  • Support PCB manufacturing, assembly, and test processes
  • Ensure proper documentation (SOW, PDR, CDR, BOM, ATP, etc.)
  • Collaborate closely with radar algorithm, software, and system engineering teams

Requirements:

  • B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering (M.Sc. preferred)
  • 6+ years in hardware design including schematics capture, PCB layout constraints, bring-up, design validation, and mechanical integration
  • At least 2 years' direct management experience leading multi-disciplinary hardware team
  • Excellent knowledge of DC/DC switching power supply including linear regulators
  • Experience in SI/PI for high-speed designs
  • Hands-on experience with lab equipment (logic analyzer, oscilloscope, VNA)
  • Experience in embedded development for board bring-up and low-level drivers
  • Understanding of FPGA architecture, design flow, and verification processes
  • Agile/Scrum development environment experience
  • Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., ISO 26262, ASIL, SIL) is an advantage
  • Experience in electro-optical system design is an advantage
  • Radar experience in mm-wave spectrum is a major advantage
