  • Mechanical design of the medical device, including plastic & metal parts, pneumatics and electronics
  • Preparation and inspection of production and testing drawings & documents
  • Design and testing of manufacturing and testing tools
  • Creating Engineering Change Orders in PLM system for product DMR release
  • Working with manufacturers and suppliers.
  • Working in collaboration with quality and engineering departments

Requirements:

Education / Certification:

B.Sc in Mechanical Engineering.

Proficiency in SolidWorks.

Certification as a qualified electrician – an advantage.

Languages:

Fluent Hebrew, English at a good level including technical English (writing and reading).

Job Requirements:

  • 5 years of experience in design of software-based pneumatic systems – Preferred in medical device companies.
  • Experience in generating mechanical & electrical drawings and pneumatic schemes.
  • Experience in generating mechanical drawings in Design for Manufacturing of Plastic injection, Silicone molding, plastic & metals CNC and sheet metal technologies.
  • Hands-on experience in design and testing R&D prototypes.
  • Office - Word, Excel, Power Point.
  • Experience in preparing and writing documents in Hebrew and English.
  • Experience in conducting root cause analysis investigations - an advantage.
  • Experience working in a PLM environment, specifically Arena – an advantage.
