Your Key Responsibilities
- Shape and execute the long-term strategy for web development, ensuring alignment with overall business and product objectives.
- Build and maintain high engineering standards, establish best practices, and define effective development workflows.
- Organize team structures and set clear performance goals to foster accountability and excellence.
- Oversee architecture design for both frontend and backend systems, ensuring performance, scalability, and security.
- Lead several cross-functional teams and guide their growth through mentoring and coaching.
- Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of software by implementing efficient agile processes.
- Partner closely with Product, UX/UI, and other departments to deliver impactful features that drive value.
- Integrate AI-powered tools into engineering workflows to accelerate coding, refactoring, testing, and quality assurance.
- Track and analyze KPIs to measure productivity, system health, and performance.
- Work on creating intelligent, AI-driven features that align with the product vision and user needs.
- Collaborate with internal AI/ML specialists to transform models into scalable, production-ready services.
- Coordinate with desktop engineering teams to ensure seamless integration between web and desktop environments.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven track record of managing multiple engineering squads across different domains.
- Strong proficiency in modern web technologies (JavaScript/TypeScript, React, , Python, microservices).
- Experience delivering secure, scalable, and high-performing web applications in fast-paced environments.
- Practical experience using AI-driven tools to boost development and QA productivity.
- Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure), CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, and DevOps practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
- Comfortable working in a hybrid format — 3 days per week in the office.
- Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Capable of deep-diving into technical tasks when required, despite not having ongoing hands-on duties.
Nice to Have
- Experience implementing AI-driven features or integrating deep learning models into production environments.
- Familiarity with 3D software, visual computing, or digital content creation tools.
- Understanding of hybrid ecosystems combining web-based and desktop applications.
