We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Manufacturing Hardware Engineer to support the development, optimization, and production of electronic hardware systems. This role involves close collaboration with R&D, production, and quality teams to ensure robust, efficient, and scalable manufacturing processes. Experience in aerospace hardware development and production environments is highly preferred.

Job Description:

  • Design and implement manufacturing processes for hardware components and systems.
  • Collaborate with design engineers to ensure manufacturability of new products.
  • Lead DFX (Design for Excellence) processes including DFM, DFA, and DFT.
  • Create and maintain production documentation including BOMs, Gerber files, and assembly instructions.
  • Monitor manufacturing processes and implement improvements to enhance quality and efficiency.
  • Conduct risk assessments and manage mitigation strategies throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Replace EOL (End-of-Life) components and ensure continuity in production.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware-related issues in production environments.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing projects.

Requirements


• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or related field)


• 3+ years of experience in hardware development, production, or similar engineering roles


• Hands-on experience with eCAD tools (Altium Designer, OrCAD, or equivalent)


• Strong skills in schematic design, PCB layout, and component selection


• Experience with EMI/RFI mitigation and hardware debugging/testing


• Familiarity with manufacturing processes, materials, and quality standards (ISO, IPC)


• Ability to prepare production documentation and implement layout revisions


• Excellent analytical, communication, and teamwork skills
