Role Description

In this challenging senior leadeship role you will lead the development of all our advanced UAV platforms, and manage a team of talented system engineers. The role is partly hands-on and involves characterization and definition of system architecture and documentation, approval of design surveys, planning and implementation of field experiments, and providing support and guidance to other R&D functions.

Reports to the VP R&D.

Position is on-site in the Emek Hefer Area.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (
    Aeronautical /
    Mechanical / Hardware)
  • Masters degree is an advantage
  • At least 10 years' experience in system engineering, in the development of multidisciplinary
    airborne systems
  • At least 4 years' experience in leading a system engineering development team.
  • Technical knowledge of unmanned aerial systems (UAS) is a significant advantage
  • Experience in writing system characterization documents, product definition, experiment reports etc.
  • High level of English
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal skills

Additional advantages:

Knowledge of flight controllers / flight logic

Familiarity with civil and/or military aviation standards
