Elka External Relations builds lasting partnerships to mobilize resources that fuel sustainable growth and bring our mission to life.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Donor Systems & Documentation: Maintain organized and up-to-date donor-related systems and records across Outlook, Excel, and SharePoint, including pledges and donations, reports, visits, and communications.
  • Grant & Reporting Coordination: Collaborate with Finance and Resource Development teams to manage the preparation and submission of grant reports, including content collection, writing, and editing.
  • Marketing & Communications Support: Develop materials in coordination with Marcom, including video clips, photos, quotes, and written content.
  • Donor Engagement & Event Planning: Coordinate donor-related events and field visits, including logistics, itineraries, room bookings, refreshments, and materials preparation. Accompany delegations when needed.
  • Resource Development Support: Conduct donor research, assist in grant applications, and maintain communication with Resource Development teams regarding deadlines, materials, and updates.
  • Administrative & Departmental Support: Coordinate daily departmental operations, including scheduling meetings and managing calendars.

Required Skills:

  • Strong organizational, operational, and time-management skills; ability to multitask efficiently
  • Excellent communication skills, including writing in Hebrew
  • Very good command of English (including writing)
  • Familiarity with the nonprofit and philanthropy sectors is an advantage
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with different levels inside and outside the organization
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office, Sharepoint and internet applications
  • Attention to detail and high standards and willingness and ability to go above and beyond to achieve department goals

  • Organization: JDC-ELKA, Jerusalem : Hybrid position requires on-site presence 2–3 times per week
  • Job Type: Full Time
  • Start Date: Immediate
  • Following the maternity leave cover there may be a possibility to continue within JDC
