Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled associate to join our Biotechnology team. The role involves hands-on work in molecular biology, protein expression, and purification. You will be responsible for designing and executing PCR reactions, performing cloning and expression screening in various host organisms, and supporting the production of novel designer proteins for preliminary evaluation. This position also includes preparation of production documentation, collaboration with the Food Technology department, and support for scale-up and regulatory activities.
Responsibilities
• Design and execution of PCR, cloning, and expression experiments.
• Small- and medium-scale protein production and purification (FPLC, ultrafiltration).
• Preparation of production documents.
• Collaborate closely with the Food Technology and Scale-Up teams.
• Conduct biochemical and molecular biology analyses.
• Contribute to ongoing R&D and cross-functional projects.
• Report directly to the Director of Biotechnology.
Qualifications
•
B.Sc
. in Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or a related field - must.
• Hands-on experience in a research or production laboratory - strong advantage.
• Practical experience with molecular cloning and expression systems - advantage.
• Background in protein purification techniques (FPLC, TFF) - advantage.
• Strong communication skills in both Hebrew and English.
• Fast learner, independent, and a collaborative team player.
