Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled, hands-on R&D Systems Engineer with a strong technical

background to drive our technology initiatives. In this role, you will work directly on the

integration of complex systems and technologies, with a focus on Linux environments, scripting,

network configurations (WiFi/LTE), and machine vision/PoE cameras. You should have the

ability to see the bigger picture and thrive in a dynamic, multidisciplinary setting, while focusing

on technical execution rather than management.

Key Responsibilities

● System Architecture & Integration:

Design, implement, and maintain system architecture that integrates advanced cameras,

edge computing (NVIDIA Jetson), and AI-driven solutions.

● Hands-On Technical Development:

Develop, deploy, and troubleshoot Linux-based systems and scripting solutions (e.g.,

Python, Bash) to enhance our asset tracking platform.

● Network & Connectivity:

Configure and optimize network setups, including WiFi and LTE, to ensure robust and

reliable communications across devices.

● Machine Vision & Camera Systems:

Work directly with machine vision and PoE camera technologies to support high-quality

data acquisition and processing.

● Hardware Definition & Future Development (Advantage):

Collaborate in defining hardware specifications - including creating Bill of Materials

(BOM) and reviewing hardware designs - to inform future development strategies.

● Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Engage with product teams, design partners, and customers to translate real-world needs

into technical solutions.

● Quality & Performance Assurance:

Ensure that all technical deliverables meet high-performance and quality standards.

Qualifications & Skills

● Experience: Minimum of 3+ years in a hands-on system engineering role within a

multidisciplinary R&D environment.

● Technical Expertise:

○ Proficient in Linux system administration and scripting (e.g., Python, Bash).

○ Good understanding of network protocols and configurations (WiFi/LTE).

○ Experience with machine vision and PoE camera systems.

○ Familiarity with edge computing platforms, particularly NVIDIA Jetson.

● Advantage:

Experience in hardware definition—including BOM creation and conducting hardware

reviews for future development—is a strong plus.

● Problem-Solving:

Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and develop innovative

solutions.

● Collaborative Mindset:

Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical

concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

● Big Picture Perspective:

Ability to understand broader project goals and align technical execution with business

objectives, without a primary focus on management responsibilities.
