Role Description

  • This is a full-time,
    on-site
    role for a
    Event Designer
    at Windman – Imagine That.
  • You will translate creative concepts into spatial experiences across conferences, brand events, and large-scale productions.
  • Day-to-day work includes developing sketches and layout options, producing fabrication-ready production specs, preparing 3D visualizations/renderings, collaborating with the safety engineer for plan approvals, and supporting producers during budget checkpoints and build-outs.
  • You'll attend kick offs and internal reviews, refine designs based on client feedback, and be present on site to mark elements, verify quality against specs, and help resolve last-minute issues.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in spatial/experiential design for events, exhibitions, retail environments, or stage design
  • Strong skills in concept development, plan/layout drafting, production specifications, and 3D visualization (e.g.,
    AutoCad\Revit
     ,SketchUp/Rhino/3ds Max/lumion or similar; Adobe CC for presentations)
  • Ability to iterate quickly from moodboards to detailed element drawings; meticulous attention to measurements, materials, and feasibility
  • Familiarity with safety requirements and collaborating with safety engineers for approvals
  • Excellent collaboration with Producers, Client Managers, Graphic Designers, and external fabricators
  • Comfortable working to tight timelines and supporting on-site build phases (mark-ups, QA against specs, closing design gaps)
  • Strong organization and version control across Drive/Monday/asset libraries
  • Proficiency in Hebrew and English

Nice to Have

  • Experience in brand environments/experiential marketing
  • Knowledge of signage, wayfinding, and sponsor/partner installations
  • Hands-on familiarity with materials, joinery, and fabrication methods (wood, metal, print, lighting)

What You'll Do

  • Create initial sketches and room/area plans for pricing; iterate to detailed element drawings and a production spec table for fabrication
  • Prepare 3D renders/visuals that communicate atmosphere and flow; refine per client feedback
  • Coordinate with the safety engineer for plan approvals before production
  • Collaborate with the Producer on budgets and timelines while safeguarding the design intent
  • Support internal pitch decks and updates (content for slides as needed) while keeping ownership of spatial design deliverables
  • Join location scouts and site measurements, and participate in on-site build-outs to mark elements, check tolerances, and sign off that fabrication aligns with specs
  • Contribute to post-event learnings and maintain organized archives of drawings, specs, and imagery for future projects
