The Company

is a venture backed AI based LNP drug delivery startup, focusing on the delivery of oligonucleotide therapies including mRNA-based therapeutics, vaccines and gene therapy. The technology is powered by an integration of machine learning and nanotechnology in order to develop drug delivery systems.

The Role

We are searching for a highly motivated lab scientist for a full time position to take part in the foundation of a state-of-the-art high-throughput robotics data generation, where we plan to do large scale screening of thousands of formulations and molecules a month

Responsibilities

  • Take part and expand our high-throughput data generation which includes - Lipid assembly, nanoparticles production, synthesizing mRNA, applying various unique assays, data analysis and much more at a growing scale.
  • Cell-based assays development and execution, designed for high throughput activity scanning.
  • Collect and analyze all pertinent data related to the data generation in a manner that ensures the precision and accuracy of the results.
  • Use your critical thinking to plan data generation projects, and put your communication skills to use by presenting your findings to colleagues and other professionals.

Requirements

  • Master of Science with at least 3 years of industry-relevant experience, in Chemical Engineering / Biotechnology Engineering / Biochemical Engineering / Biochemistry / Biology / Life sciences.
  • Team player, details & results oriented with excellent communication skills - A must
  • Experience with formulation optimization, cell lines and primary cell cultures, fluorescence/confocal microscopy.
  • Capable of independent experiment execution, data collection and data analysis according to protocols & SOPs.
  • Advantages - experience with Liposoms\lipid nanoparticles, organic chemistry, molecule synthesis, automated liquid handlers, microfluidics, working in a robotic laboratory.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and in Hebrew.
