We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join our technical department as part of the company's development team.
The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for developing, designing, analyzing and optimizing mechanical systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include contributing to research and development projects, managing mechanical engineering tasks and leading projects to completion while adhering to high-quality standards. Working in close collaboration with cross-functional teams the role will require delivering innovative solutions to our cutting-edge aerostat technologies.

The role includes:

  • Mechanical design and development
  • Preparation of complete production packages, including drawings, specifications and assemblies
  • Supporting manufacturing and integration processes
  • Configuration management including product tree development
  • Continuous improvement of existing products and supporting engineering troubleshooting
  • Collaborating with various organizational interfaces

Work Environment:

  • Office based work combined with occasional visits to the production floor
  • Independent work alongside a multidisciplinary team

Qualifications:

  • Education:

Bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering
- Professional Knowledge:
Experience in complex multi-component mechanical design
- Excellent command of
SolidWorks
- Experience in preparing production packages and configuration management

  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Dedication, organization and precision
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
  • Quick learner and agile

Advantages:

  • Knowledge in hydraulics and electrical systems
  • Experience with integrated hydraulic and control systems
  • Knowledge of 3D printing
  • Relevant experience in aerostat systems, aerospace or defense industries
