In this position you will…

As a junior QA engineer, you will be responsible for testing and ensuring the quality of our software products and services.

You will work closely with the development team and the product manager to understand the requirements and specifications of each feature and functionality.

You will design, execute, and report on test cases, to verify the functionality, usability, and security of our software.

You will also identify, document, and report any bugs, defects, or issues that affect the quality of our software.

You will collaborate with the scrum team and other stakeholders to ensure that the software meets the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

You will be responsible for…

• Work closely with the development team and product managers to understand feature requirements and specifications.
• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for web applications, APIs, and databases.
• Identify, document, and report bugs, defects, and inconsistencies clearly and accurately.
• Participate in scrum ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Monitor and prioritize testing activities to meet project deadlines.
• Maintain a strong focus on usability, performance, and customer satisfaction.
• Assist in building and maintaining automated test suites (if applicable).
• Support release and regression testing activities.

You will require the following qualifications and skills

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience.
• Understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Basic knowledge of testing web applications, APIs, and databases.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong work ethic and a commitment to quality.

Nice-to-Have (Advantages):

• Experience with SaaS products and agile teams.
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, TestCafe, Jest, etc.
• Understanding of API testing and formats like JSON and XML.
• Coding or scripting experience to support test automation initiatives.
