Facilities Operative

The Facilities Operative works as part of a facilities team supporting the facilities administrator, MAC, post room and events team and will be directly accountable for the following typical activities:

  • Support the events team in terms of sick leave and planned annual leave
  • Support the facilities administrator to cover sick leave and planned annual leave in terms of tasks and social posts and the updating of both
  • Work with the on site facilities team to ensure all reactive tasks are dealt with in a dealt within KPI's
  • Assist with ad hoc task including event set up, furniture moves, desk moves and facilities operations tasks
  • Provides support for external contractors, guests, visitors and employees during events and in the day to day running of the office environment
  • Provide support for meetings room audits
  • Act collaboratively to solve problems and resolve spontaneous and unique situations with professionalism and service orientation.
  • Ensure completion of daily checks and delivery of committed services and overall client satisfaction Demonstrate responsiveness and creativity in finding solutions for service delivery
  • Ensure appropriate follow up with customers in terms of updating tasks, responding to social posts and managing face to face interactions with clients
  • Ad hoc duties from time to time to support the rest of the facilities team
  • Experience in a hands-on role working within a fast paced facilities environment
  • Outstanding customer service skills and orientation
  • Ability to maintain professionalism at all times
  • Ability to multitask and work with limited supervision
  • Proficient in MS Office with excellent written and verbal skills

Minimum of 1 years in related role, in particular within a client facing facilities environment

Must be able to demonstrate flexibility in relation to type of works carried out and availability
