For a leading medical organization, a CISO is required

Job Description:

Lead the field of CISO, communications, information security, and cyber at the medical center, including:

  • Formulating and leading the organization's information security and cyber policy.
  • Developing an organizational strategy.
  • Managing the communications infrastructure and information security team, providing professional guidance, and accompanying projects.
  • Overseeing the implementation of advanced technologies in the field of information security.
  • Full responsibility for securing cloud environments, AWS, Azure.
  • Working with regulatory bodies and leading compliance and certification processes (ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, etc.).
  • Conducting risk assessments and managing security incidents.
  • Supporting secure DevOps and SDLC processes.
  • Collaborating with IT, development, and infrastructure teams.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in information security.
  • At least 2 years of experience managing a team.
  • Proven hands-on technical experience in the following:
  • Firewalls (preferably Palo Alto / Fortinet)
  • Load Balancers (F5 / NGINX)
  • XDR – Cortex/CrowdStrike
  • Cloud security, especially AWS (including IAM, VPC, Security Groups, WAF, etc.)
  • Practical experience in designing information security architecture in hybrid environments (On-Prem / Cloud).
  • Ability to lead cross-organizational processes, strong business understanding, and proven experience working with executive management.
  • High proficiency in Hebrew and English.
  • Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, AWS Security Specialty – an advantage.
  • Experience in cyber incident investigation and penetration testing – an advantage.
  • Background in privacy and compliance with global regulations – an advantage.
