Job Description

Kaltura is looking for a Back End Developer to work on our core server live-streaming Products

Qualifications


•Excellent programming abilities in NODE.JS/ C++/ JAVA


•B.Sc. degree in Computer Science/ Engineering or equivalent


•3+ years of demonstrated software development experience in a fast-paced environment, working through all phases of the product development life cycle


•Ability to work in a results-driven, high pressure environment


•Excellent knowledge and understanding of design patterns


•Experience with these is also a bonus:


•Programming abilities in Windows, OSX , Linux


•Solid knowledge of web standards, cross-browser, cross-platform and cross device compatibility


•Nice to have:


•Experience with Live Streaming and new online multimedia sharing technologies


•Demonstrated expertise with Video/ Audio delivery and playback


•Knowledge of webcasting, conferencing and real time Video


•Proven experience using audio/ video frameworks, codecs and technologies
