We're looking for a
Senior
Data Analyst to join our Courier Operations team
— a unique playground for analysts who want to see their work directly impact the economy, customer experience, and real people's lives every single day.

This isn't just another data job. This is
economics in action
: understanding how incentives shape behavior, how algorithms and payment models influence the dynamics between couriers, merchants, and customers, and how we can improve every part of the engine that powers Wolt in Israel.

You'll sit at the intersection of data and operations, working hand-in-hand with local and global teams. You'll dive into huge, live datasets, launch experiments, fine-tune courier payment models, and help drive decisions that affect the company's bottom line, customer happiness, and courier satisfaction — all in real time.

What you'll be doing:

• Design and iterate on courier payment models that balance fairness, efficiency, and business performance
• Monitor and optimize core operational KPIs: delivery times, acceptance rates, earnings per hour, and more
• Launch experiments and data-driven initiatives that shape platform behavior and improve decision-making
• Collaborate with operational leaders to connect data insights to real-world change, from business decisions to courier experience
• Create dashboards, alerts, and monitoring tools to track marketplace health
• Work closely with Product, Global Analytics, and local Ops teams to deliver high-impact analytical projects
• Influence the reputation, profitability, and service quality of Wolt in Israel

Our humble expectations:

• 6+ years of hands-on experience as a data or business analyst
• Strong proficiency in SQL and in Python / R / similar for data analysis
• Experience with BI tools (e.g. Looker, Power BI) and building actionable dashboards
• A deep understanding of marketplace dynamics, incentive systems, or behavioral economics — a big plus
• Creative problem-solver with a proactive mindset and business intuition
• Excellent communication skills – able to translate data into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders
• Fluent in Hebrew and English
• Thrives in ambiguity, ownership, and real-world problem-solving
