Power and Electric Propulsion System Engineer | Central District | Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) – Aviation Division

IAI's Aviation Division is seeking a Power and Electric Propulsion System Engineer to join its Engineering and Development Center. This is a technically challenging role working on cutting-edge aerospace platforms.

The position includes:


• Developing energy, power, and propulsion systems


• Performing engineering analyses


• Creating system schematics and diagrams


• Preparing specifications for subsystems and supporting development


• Writing test specifications, conducting development tests, taking measurements, and performing lab integration


• Supporting system integration on aircraft


• Writing test result reports and certification documents

What we're looking for:


• B.Sc. in Electrical or Electronics Engineering – required


• Licensed Electrician – strong advantage


• M.Sc. in Engineering – advantage


• At least 5 years of experience in the development of power systems, propulsion systems, or similar technologies – required


• Experience working in laboratories and with test equipment – required


• Very good command of English – required


• Experience working on multidisciplinary systems – strong advantage


• Experience in aviation, military systems, or energy sources – advantage


• Experience with engineering tools such as MATLAB, ORCAD – advantage


• Experience working with subcontractors in Israel and abroad – advantage


• Strong professional independence, learning ability, and capability to lead an engineering development project


• Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
