Position Title: Director of Operations

Job Summary:

IceCure Medical, an innovative medical device company in the field of cryoablation for the destruction of tumors, is seeking a passionate and innovative Person to join the team.

The Director of Operations is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the company, ensuring efficiency, quality, and cost-effective management of resources. This role involves strategic planning, process optimization, team leadership, and cross-functional coordination to support the company's growth and operational excellence.

Job description and responsibilities

⮚     Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with company goals.

⮚     Oversee daily business operations across departments (e.g., purchasing, logistics, production, Production Planning and Control, facilities).

⮚     Collaborate with executive leadership to set long-term operational goals and budgets.

⮚     Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.

⮚     Manage vendor relationships, contract manufacturers, and negotiate contracts.

⮚     Drive continuous improvement initiatives and operational efficiency.

⮚     Support change management and organizational development efforts.

⮚     Responsible for production planning according to supply forecast and other constraints

⮚     Oversees production plan execution, import, export, and local transportation.

⮚     Manage company inventory, released products and parts

⮚     Responsible for the overall product cost reduction.

⮚     Monitor performance metrics and KPIs to identify areas for improvement.

⮚     Responsible for facility construction and infrastructure.

Education and Experience

⮚     Education and experience in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field

⮚ years of experience in similar positions

⮚     Strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills. Ability to pay attention to detail alongside a strategic vision.

⮚     Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

⮚     Proficiency in project management and business software (e.g., ERP systems).

⮚     Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.

⮚     Experience in scaling operations in a fast-growing company.

⮚     Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies is an Advantage

⮚     Fluent in reading, speaking, and writing in Hebrew and English. Additional languages are an advantage.

⮚     Financial acumen and experience managing budgets - Advantage
