As a quantum algorithm researcher, your main role will be to develop algorithmic and error-reduction tools to help our partners and customers achieve quantum advantage for their applications. You will develop Qedma's error reduction (mitigation and correction) methods and apply them to different use cases by both optimizing and developing new algorithms and by optimizing the error reduction methods themselves for the specific applications at hand.

  • Developing new error reduction methods (mitigation and correction) for quantum algorithms, with a focus on quantum chemistry.
  • Optimizing error reduction methods for different quantum algorithms.
  • Developing new quantum chemistry algorithms to enhance performance on real quantum hardware with error mitigation.
  • Conducting research on quantum applications with Qedma's partners, including implementing and running proof-of-concept demonstrations of these applications on real quantum hardware.

Responsibilities:

Requirements:

  • PhD in computational quantum chemistry, or quantum computing with orientation to chemistry applications; outstanding MSc for the same topics will also be considered.
  • Strong programming skills, preferably in Python.
  • Excellent technical and scientific communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
