Job Title: Site Manager / Translator (Hebrew-English)

Location: US DoD Sites 53 and 61 in Israel

Citizenship Requirement: Israeli Citizen with Active IDF Security Clearance

Schedule: 43 hours per week

(Sunday–Thursday + partial Fridays; occasional support on Shabbat/holidays as required)

Travel Required: Minimal, local site visits

Language on Demand, Inc. is a US government contracting firm located in Northern Virginia (United States) that offers a full range of language and staffing services for government and commercial clients.

Description:

LOD is seeking a qualified Israeli professional to provide on-site site management, coordination, and Hebrew-English translation/interpretation services at U.S. Department of Defense facilities in Israel. This role requires supporting construction and service contracts, facilitating access, and acting as liaison with the Israeli Ministry of Defense, IDF, and U.S. Theater Support Group personnel.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Inspect and report on site infrastructure, facilities, and real property assets; report findings to the TSG Contracting Officer Representative (COR).

· Monitor contractor performance, document deviations, and support contract oversight.

· Facilitate access procedures, issue passes, and escort personnel as required.

· Provide accurate Hebrew-English oral and written translation for technical and administrative documents, RFIs, and meetings.

· Support planning and execution of site visits, exercises, and meetings.

· Maintain professional communication with U.S. and host nation officials; prepare routine reports to contracting officials.

Qualifications:

· Israeli Citizen with an active IDF Security Clearance.

· Professional fluency in Hebrew and English (speaking, reading, writing).

· Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in site management, facility coordination, or translation/interpretation.

· Strong knowledge of IDF/IAF organizational structure and procedures.

· Ability to work independently, communicate clearly, and manage multiple priorities.

· Computer proficiency (MS Office, report writing, digital document handling).

Work Schedule:

· Full-time: 43 hours per week.

· Standard Sunday–Thursday work week, partial Friday hours, with occasional requirements on Shabbat or Israeli holidays.
