About the Position
The role involves troubleshooting, scripting, and collaborating with teams to improve testing and deployment workflows. Our mission is to ensure streamlined operations and advance our technology infrastructure by integrating automated solutions.
Join us to take a significant part in the enhancement of our lab systems through innovative automation techniques and collaborative team efforts. As a Lab Automation Engineer, you'll ensure efficient lab operations and contribute significantly to our system optimization processes.
Responsibilities- Utilize advanced Bash scripting and Python automation skills to improve lab workflows.
- Collaborate with teams to refine testing and deployment processes, focusing on Jenkins and Pytest integration.
- Troubleshoot and optimize network switches, BIOS, and ensure smooth VLAN operations.
- Oversee lab operations and ensure seamless IT functionality.
- Manage hardware components
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of Linux OS, covering installation, package management, permissions, and network configurations.
- Implement and manage software controls; enhance systems using web interfaces and automation tools.
- 2+ years of experience as an Automation engineer - Must
- Proven proficiency in Linux OS, with skills in file system management and debugging - Must.
- Solid understanding of lab operations and general IT processes, including general knowledge in operating servers, network switch and related infrastructure.
- Strong familiarity with hardware components like RAM, CPU, and various connectors.
- Proven experience in automation using Python and advanced Bash scripting.
- Prior experience with tools like Jenkins and Pytest.
- Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
Highly Desired Qualifications (The "Extra Mile")
- Experience in optimizing high-performance systems.
- Advanced debugging skills and experience in complex network configurations.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and experience with scalable automation solutions.
